In the past 24 hours, 21 corona patients from the region have been reported to the RIVM. They come from Rotterdam (9), Krimpen aan den IJssel (4), Vlaardingen (2), Zwijndrecht (2), Sliedrecht (2), Lansingerland (1) and Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht (1). On Friday the RIVM reported 2 deaths, on Thursday 12.
14 new people from the region have also been hospitalized.
Rotterdam has the most new infections last day (331). Then Dordrecht (61) and Schiedam (59) follow.

Which figures does Rijnmond use?
We base ourselves on the figures that the RIVM publishes every day at 2:15 pm on this page. These figures come from the GGD Rotterdam-Rijnmond and the GGD Zuid-Holland Zuid, but can deviate from the corona dashboard every day.
This can be for various reasons, for example the time at which the figures are entered and the fact that our region consists of two GGDs, both of which have a different approach to the daily figures. By using the same source every day, we have the best view of developments over several days and weeks.
