At the Mother House of the Sisters of Sainte-Anne, Lachine, on March 2, 2021, at the age of 91, passed away Sister Rita Simard, ssa Originally from Alfred, Ontario, she was the daughter of the late Donat Simard and the late Albertine Daoust.
She is survived by her religious family, her sisters Laurette (Jacques Prud’homme), Auréa, Sister of Charity of Ottawa, Rollande (Gaétan Comtois), Marie-Rose (Jean-Guy Séguin) and Noëlla (late Jacques Touchette), his sister-in-law Aline LaVictoire (late Rémi) as well as several nieces and nephews.
Under the current circumstances of the pandemic, the funeral will take place at a later date. A personalized tribute, reserved for the nuns, will be paid to her during the community mass.
