Nevertheless, the Chinese researchers point out some trends that could be interesting. In this case series, the Covid 19 disease manifested itself differently in diabetics than in non-diabetics. While fever occurred in 59.5 percent of the patients in the first group, this symptom was significantly more common in the second group with 83.2 percent of patients affected. Chills (56.8 versus 71.5 percent), cough (21.6 versus 35.0 percent), chest tightness (13.5 versus 29.2 percent), and shortness of breath (13.5 versus 27 percent) also occurred less frequent in patients with diabetes.
