RI’s Richest Youth Owner of Oil Palm Plantation in Riau, His Assets is IDR 26.1 Trillion

JAKARTA — Forbes magazine noted that Ciliandra Fangiono’s total wealth was USD 1.83 billion or equivalent to Rp. 26.1 trillion (exchange rate of Rp. 14,300 per USD). Thus, the 45-year-old man occupies the top position of the richest youth in the Republic of Indonesia (RI).

Ciliandra is a Bachelor of Economics from Cambridge University. By his alma mater, he was even awarded the PriceWaterhouse Book Prize.

Citing various sources, Saturday (5/2/2022), Ciliandra Fangiono occupies the position of the 24th richest person in Indonesia with the youngest age. His total net worth, as released by Forbes, is estimated at USD 1.83 billion or equivalent to IDR 26.1 trillion (exchange rate of IDR 14,300 per USD).

Before joining the family business, the man who was born in Riau in 1976 had worked at Merrill Lynch in Singapore, to be precise in the investment banking division.

In 2021, the Fangiono family announced that the palm oil company FAP Agri would be controlled by Ciliandra’s older sister, Wirastuty.
