Review Logitech mouse MX Anywhere 3: no squeaks, it always works

The main disadvantage of a mouse is that it sometimes doesn’t work, it needs to be charged and it rarely looks sexy. Bad news: mice still need to be charged. But with the MX Anywhere 3, Logitech promises that you can use your mouse on your bare thigh, on a glass table or on your leather couch. And it is also available in pink.

With that charging it is not too bad, because completely full it can do its job for 2 months. You can charge via a USB-C cable and then it is just as if you have a wired mouse.

I tried the mouse on my leather office chair, its plastic handrail, my teacup, my floor, my dog, my upholstered sofa and … my desk. He worked beyond expectations in all situations. When used on a dog, it is recommended to take a short-haired breed. Well, yes.

The mouse can be used via Bluetooth or via the included dongle. Then you don’t have to pair it yourself. Seems like a small effort in almost every scenario.

Multiple computers at the same time

If you regularly work on several computers, you can switch from one computer to another with the button at the bottom of the mouse, but even more exciting is using the mouse with two devices at the same time. In the Logitech Options app you can indicate that you want to jump to your laptop on the right side of the screen from your desktop, for example.

And that works flawlessly. In fact, you can cut and paste from one computer to another. Few people will use this function, but for those who sometimes work on two computers at the same time, it is a godsend.

The MX Anywhere 3 works with Windows, MacOS, iPadOS, ChromeOS and Linux and is available in black, gray and pink. The main difference of the MX Anywhere 3 for Mac is a different charging cable (USB-C to USB-C) and is only available in gray. Boring!

For the enjoyment of a mouse that even works on your dirty couch, you pay 89 euros.
