PORTIMAO – Monster Energy Yamaha Team racer, Fabio Quartararo, still continues to show its sharpness on MotoGP Portugal 2021. In the fourth free practice session, Quartararo was still the fastest.
Quartararo showed a truly brilliant performance in the fourth free practice session which was held at the Algarve Circuit, Portimao, Portugal, Saturday (17/4/2021) evening WIB. He recorded the fastest time in this session, with 1 minute 39.788 seconds.
Following Quartararo, there was the host racer, Miguel Oliveira, who also performed beautifully using the Red Bull Team KTM racing motorbike. The racer who won the Portuguese MotoGP race last season recorded a time of 0.268 seconds adrift of Quartararo.
In third place, there is the name of the Pramac Ducati Team racer, namely Johann Zarco. Zarco’s time was 0.285 seconds behind Fabio Quartararo, who came out as the fastest.

The fourth and fifth positions are filled by Maverick Vinales and Francesco Bagnaia respectively. Vinales posted his best time of 1 minute 40.075 seconds in this session, while Bagnaia of the Lenovo Ducati Team posted his best time of 1 minute 40.111 seconds.
Meanwhile, Marc Marquez can slowly show improvement in this session. If in the third free practice session he dropped to 15th, now Marquez is perched in ninth position after recording his best time of 1 minute 40.197 seconds.
If Marc Marquez starts to show improvement, it will be different from the aging MotoGP racer, namely Valentino Rossi, who is still scattered from the top 10. He only filled 15th place with a time of 0.831 seconds adrift of Quartararo.
