Resolutions 2020. Health is in the spotlight

Happy New Year and good health !

At midnight on December 31, we will say goodbye to 2019 to enter 2020. The transition to the new year also marks the time for good resolutions that we take … without always keeping them. Happy New Year and good health, it is precisely health that remains one of the primary resolutions. We always want to get back into sport or lose a few pounds when smokers announce their goal to quit. According to an Odoxa survey on the 2019 health assessment and the 2020 forecasts, smoking cessation would be on the agenda of 12% of the population. The increase in the price of the cigarette package from January 1, 2020 could be an additional motivation.

Health also requires sleep. When the day lasts 24 hours, the time spent under the duvet decreases from year to year. In 2019, we slept less than 7 hours on average per night. The year 2019 was in a downward trend, but we will gladly take an extra hour under the duvet every night!

Finally, good resolutions are also more humane for 2020. We always want to take time for ourselves in different forms. Take care of your health, allow yourself more time to rest and drop out of work, for example. Also, giving time for others is in the list of resolutions that we can take for this new year. Happiness makes us happier ourselves.
