Resignation besides expulsion – last minute news

KONCUK: I AM NOT ADDICTED

Adana Deputy İsmail Koncuk announced his resignation at the press conference held with Özdağ in the Assembly yesterday and said: “We conveyed our opinions and demands to our President, but we did not get any positive results. GOOD
The party is not being well managed. The moral is to end our unity with the understanding of everyone on their own way before further resentment occurs. As of today, I have no connection with the IYI Party, neither as a deputy nor a member. ”

İYİ Party Istanbul Deputy Ümit Özdağ, who was referred to the Disciplinary Board due to the FETO allegations against his party’s provincial chair Buğra Kavuncu, was unanimously dismissed from the party. Adana Deputy İsmail Koncuk, who wanted the expulsion of the Organization President Koray Aydın, also announced that he resigned from his party. Özdağ’s expulsion and Koncuk’s resignation came at the same time. Özdağ, who was with Koncuk when he made a statement, was asked about the information that he was ‘expelled’ and said, “I was very surprised.” The number of seats of the IYI Party in the Parliament decreased to 36.

“Kavuncu served as the vice president of the Kazakhstan Turkish Businessmen Association, which is the largest non-governmental organization abroad, of FETÖ,” Özdağ said at CNN Türk on October 19 at Ahmet Hakan’s Neutral Zone program. Özdağ claimed that Akşener was also aware of the situation. While Kavuncu filed a criminal complaint against Özdağ, the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office launched an investigation against Kavuncu.

FROM DISCIPLINED SEVK AKŞENER

The head of 81 provinces and 108 districts submitted a petition to the Headquarters for Özdağ to be expelled. Özdağ was referred to the discipline on October 29, by the decision of the Chairman Meral Akşener. Özdağ, who made a written defense on 13 November, also claimed that Akşener “sat at the table with the HDP as part of a secret constitutional amendment study”. Their allegations were denied by Akşener and Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu. The Joint Disciplinary Committee of 16 people, consisting of the IYI Party Central Disciplinary Board and the deputies of the IYI Party, unanimously decided to remove Özdağ from his party membership, including the Board of Founders.

‘PREPARING FOR THE PRESIDENCY OF KAVUNCU’

Özdağ, who attended Ahmet Hakan’s Neutral Zone program on CNN Türk last night, repeated the allegations that Buğra Kavuncu had a relationship with FETO and said: “(Kavuncu) is preparing for the post-Akşener chairmanship. After I said, Buğra Kavuncu had no chance to become the chairman. If I were Buğra Kavuncu, I would resign now. ” Özdağ also denied the allegations that he would establish a party.

AKŞENER: ÜZÜLDÜM

In his statement, Akşener said, “I wish it wasn’t like this. Özdağ’s disciplinary committee decided to expel him from the party because of his slanderous rhetoric that bind me, our party and almost half of the Presidential Board. I express my sorrow, ”he said.
