Resident of Sweikhuizen asylum seekers’ center throws hot oil: two employees with burns removed | Inland

The victims were taken to the burns center in Aachen with burns. A resident of the asylum seekers’ center has been arrested.

A spokesperson for the COA says that two employees went to a fire alarm that had been activated in the kitchen. There was a resident who had been in the asylum seekers’ center for a long time, who had a pan of hot oil in his hands. He threw it over the two employees.

Several ambulances and fire brigade units arrived on the scene after the emergency services were alerted. An air ambulance was also called in, but did not have to take action.

The two injured employees were taken to the burn center and the resident was arrested. There have never been any problems with this man before.

At around 8 p.m., peace had returned to the asylum seekers’ center in Sweikhuizen. The police started an investigation.
