Report: Manchester United hold talks with Juventus’ Paulo Dybala

According to a media report, the transfer poker for Juventus striker Paulo Dybala is coming to a head. ESPN reports that four Premier League clubs are interested in the Argentine, alongside Juve’s Serie A rivals Inter Milan. In addition to Arsenal, Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur, record champions Manchester United are also mentioned.

Initial talks are said to have already taken place with the Red Devils. These, it is said, are now to be intensified. Also the Corriere dello Sport writes that United are keen on Dybala’s services.

Paulo Dybala will leave Juventus

He was about to be transferred to Manchester in 2019, when both clubs were negotiating a swap deal between him and today’s Chelsea star Romelu Lukaku. However, there was no agreement at the time.

Given his contract situation, Dybala is one of the most interesting personalities on the transfer market. The 28-year-old’s contract in Turin is expiring and after months of negotiations, the Bianconeri announced a few weeks ago that there would be no extension. So Dybala is free and can already negotiate with other clubs.

In 2015, Juve brought the noble technician from Palermo for around 41 million euros. Since then, Dybala has won five Scudetti and four Coppa Italia with the Old Lady. In the current season he has 14 goals and 6 assists in 34 competitive games.
