The Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda has announced the Works for the repair of the overpass of the Cancelada link, at kilometer 165 + 600 of the A-7, indicating that there will be affections to pedestrian traffic in the upper step of this link starting tomorrow Wednesday, May 12.
The structure of the overpass has a central span of 20 meters in length with two trough beams, the beam on the Marbella side being damaged.
For this reason, while the works last, pedestrians will not be able to circulate through the overpass, which is which is added to the restriction of vehicular traffic access to the overpass from the road towards Barcelona, and the change of direction and access to the Cancelada area.
The Ministry has also clarified that they have been enabled two alternative pedestrian routes for the crossing over the A-7 in the pedestrian walkways located at pp.kk. 165 + 100 and pk 166 + 150.
