In the field, the installation of these wind turbines will be carried out through the private developer of the 850 MW Integrated Wind Power Project, made up of the Nareva Holding (Morocco) and Enel Green Power (Italy) consortium, responsible for building the Boujdour wind farm of 300 MW. Thus, the scope of action of the Spanish company covers the supply, transport, installation, commissioning and testing of 87 SG 3.4-132 model wind turbines and a five-year service contract, indicates the company specializing in the design, manufacture, sale, installation, operation and maintenance of wind turbines adding that the construction of the Boujdour wind farm is part of the 850 MW Integrated Wind Project launched in 2016. With a capacity of 300 MW, this park, which is located about 7 km northeast of the town of Boujdour, will mobilize an investment of around 4 billion dirhams.
Note that the 850 MW Integrated Wind Project, made up of the five wind farms “Midelt – 180 MW”, “Boujdour – 300 MW”, “Jbel Lahdid in Essaouira – 200 MW”, “Tiskrad- in Tarfaya – 100 MW”, ” Tangier II – 70 MW ”, represents an important component of the national energy strategy, the objective of which is to reach 52% of the installed electrical power based on renewable energy by 2030.
