Render shows Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 – Tablets and Phones – News

A render of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has appeared. It would be the successor to last year’s Galaxy Fold. The new model seems to be slightly thinner and has a larger screen on the front.

Twitter user Ishan Agarwal has the Galaxy Z Fold 2 render put online. It appears to be an official marketing image. He also shows renders of the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and the new Galaxy Buds. Renders of those products have previously appeared online.

The render has a low resolution, but the new Fold seems to be slightly thinner than the current model. The screen on the front is only visible for a small part, but that seems to continue to the bottom and is therefore larger than with the current Galaxy Fold. The rear camera island shares similarities with the Note 20 Ultra’s cameras. The copper color is also the same.

In its initial post, Agarwal questions the authenticity of the render, but Ice universe, another Twitter user who regularly releases news about smartphones yet to be announced, says the picture is real. He also posts one vague version of the same render on his account.

Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy Z Fold 2 on August 5 at its Unpacked event. There, the introduction of the Note 20 Ultra and the new Galaxy Buds is also expected. With recent tweets hint Samsung also on a new foldable device.
