MOSCOW, Sept. 17 – RIA Novosti. Zaporizhzhya Automobile Building Plant (ZAZ) will begin assembling the Renault Arkana crossover from vehicle sets supplied from Russia, this is stated on website representation of a French company at Ukraine. “Serial production of Renault Arkana for the Ukrainian market has been established at the ZAZ plant in Zaporizhzhia from vehicle kits supplied from the group’s Moscow plant Renault“, – the message says. The presentation of this model in Ukraine took place on Wednesday. Russia became the first country where production and sales of Arkana began. The assembly of cars was mastered by the Moscow plant Renault as one of the most modern robotic enterprises of the concern. Russian specialists, 70% of components for assembly will be supplied by domestic manufacturers. In March it was reported that ZAZ had released a test batch of Russian Lada cars as part of the audit.
