The factory in Flins, operating since September 2021, has already renovated over 1.5 thousand. cars. And this is just the beginning, because Renault has ambitious plans. Over the next two years, it plans to significantly increase production capacity and expand its operations. And by 2023, the manufacturer gives himself time to enter a new niche – deal with the conversion of cars used for transport (goods or people) into electric vehicles.

In the meantime, he wants to speed up the recycling of batteries and increase employment in the French factory, and significantly – from 700 employees to 3,000.

At the end of 2021, Renault said it expected $ 1.1 billion by the end of 2030. revenues, the source of which will be the recycling business developed by the manufacturer.

Equipped with four production lines, the factory in Flins has its own photo and video studio that is able to capture ten vehicles in an hour. Technology and procedures they allow the vehicle to be put back on the market immediately, no need to wait for it to come back to the dealer. According to information provided by Renault this fall, it takes an average of eight days to refurbish a car.
