In connection with the new price tags for the modernized Megane Renault, it also launched orders. Customers can choose from four trim levels. The cheapest one bears the traditional name Life and sets the lower limit beyond which Megane can be purchased, ie 405 thousand crowns.

For them, the owner can look forward to electrically operated front mirrors, manual air conditioning, central locking with remote control or full-LED headlights. The longer version of the Grandtour costs 20,000 crowns more with the same equipment.

The name changed the highest level of equipment, formerly called the GT Line. However, Renault is introducing new rules and the sporty equipment is now called the RS Line. It lends seventeen-inch alloy wheels or sports seats to the car.

Under this equipment is a luxurious design called Intens, where you can find, for example, brand recognition, navigation, leather steering wheel and electrically folding mirrors. As always, Zen equipment remains the golden mean.

By far the biggest innovation is the plug-in hybrid drive called the E-Tech Plug-In 160, which combines an atmospheric petrol engine and an electric motor and together gives an output of 159 horsepower.

It is complemented by a special multimode gearbox with two gears for electric and four for internal combustion engine. The car will travel 50 kilometers on electricity. However, this engine can only be combined with the longer version of GrandTour. The Zen equipment costs 750 thousand crowns, RS Line starts at the 830 thousand mark.

Four more internal combustion engines can be placed in the new Megane. The weakest is the liter TCe 120 engine supplied exclusively with a six-speed manual and 114 horsepower. There is also a larger 1.3-liter gasoline, for which it is possible to choose a seven-speed automatic. Renault offers it in two versions with either 140 or 160 horsepower. The only diesel unit is 1.5 Blue dCi with an output of 115 hp.
