“Fakt” writes about the changes, referring to the draft changes in the labor code by the family ministry. The draft itself has not yet been published on government sites.

As the newspaper writes, those who submit such a request to the employer will be able to work remotely. For example, this right will be available to parents of children under 3 years of age. In exceptional cases, the employer himself can send to work remotely – this applies to emergency situations and epidemics.

In addition, remote work will be for those who have suitable premises for it, although – as “Fakt” writes – the draft amendment does not specify what it should be understood by. The project also does not specify whether employees can count on compensation, e.g. for electricity used for work.

It is known, however, that the employer will be able to carry out checks at the employee’s home. However, here the possibilities of the employer will not be unlimited. The employer may not make unannounced checks for which the employee has not previously agreed. Moreover, such an inspection will be allowed only during working hours and only in those places indicated by the employee.
