Remaster confirmed with first details, trailer and date

What has been circulating in the form of rumors in recent months has finally been officially confirmed today.

Indeed, players can look forward to remastered versions of “Tony Hawk Pro Skater” and “Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2”. The two new editions will be published in a package for the consoles and the PC and will be available from September 4, 2020 according to the current state of affairs. All professional skaters, tricks, modes and songs from the two celebrated originals are promised.

Included skaters include Steve Caballero, Geoff Rowley, Bucky Lasek, Elissa Steamer, Kareem Campbell, Andrew Reynolds, Bob Burnquist, Eric Koston, Rodney Mullen, Jamie Thomas, Rune Glifberg, Chad Muska and of course Tony Hawk. The remaster will also include all the original levels from the first two games in the series, from the warehouse to the bullring.

The technical implementation was of course also brought up to scratch and provides you with a fluid 60FPS. “Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 + 2” also shines in 4K resolution on the PC, Xbox Series X and PS4 Pro. “Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2” will be released in Germany at a RRP of 44.99 euros. A digital deluxe edition with unique content will be released for the RRP of 54.99 euros.

Also on offer is a Collector’s Edition, which is available for € 99.99 and includes a limited birdhouse deck. The official says: “The deck offers the legendary Falcon 2 design in a new edition exclusively in the Collector’s Edition. The deck is 100% suitable for skating, but maybe you’d prefer to hold back a bit with the insane grinds: The birdman’s autograph printed on it might suffer. ”

Anyone who pre-orders Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 digitally will have access to the warehouse demo prior to the game’s official release. The demo will be released at a later date, according to Activision.
