Relations between Russia and NATO – Peskov accused the alliance of an extremely aggressive stance

Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov accused NATO of an “extremely aggressive position” against the Russian Federation. At the same time, he added that the North Atlantic Alliance does not recognize the red lines, and Russia does not like this.

“We see that NATO is now demonstrating an extremely aggressive position. We see the rhetoric of NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg. We see the rhetoric of various representatives of the United States,” Peskov said.

He also added that Russia is doing everything to insure its own interests.

“They all say that they do not recognize any red lines – one. They say that NATO will do whatever it wants – two. On any territory – three. And all this to contain the Russian Federation – four. We do not like it. We do so to insure our own interests, “- said Peskov.
