A Lijn bus ended up in the water in Bruges. The three travelers and the driver were able to leave the vehicle in time and were taken away slightly injured.

The accident happened at the intersection of the Bevrijdingslaan and Koning Leopold I-laan in Bruges. At the Canada Bridge – popularly known as the Buffalo Bridge – the bus left the road. It landed on its side in the water.
‘At the Buffelbrug, a bus did indeed end up in the water for inexplicable reasons’, confirms Lien Depoorter, spokeswoman for the Bruges police. The exact circumstances of the accident have yet to be investigated.
According to De Lijn, there were three travelers on the bus. Like the bus driver, they were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
