Regrets Juventus Failed to Maximize Ronaldo’s Potential

Juventus ever strengthened Cristiano Ronaldo for three seasons. Juve CEO Maurizio Arrivabene revealed what was disappointing after signing Ronaldo.

The Bianconeri brought in the five-time world’s best player from Real Madrid for a ransom of 100 million euros in the summer of 2018. Getting a star as big as Ronaldo can be said to bring benefits to Juventus both technically and economically.

Ronaldo himself scored 101 goals in 134 appearances for Juventus in all competitions. The striker who is now 37 years old helped the Old Lady win two Scudetto, one Coppa Italia and two Italian Super Cups. Even though Juve are still sluggish in the Champions League after finishing once in the quarter-finals and falling twice in a row in the last 16.

Nevertheless, hope Juventus to maximize Ronaldo’s presence, the COVID-19 pandemic that began to spread in early 2020. Coupled with Ronaldo’s very large salary in the process, Juve released the player to Manchester United last summer.
