Registration closes this Saturday for the Djooky Music Awards | AdPress

Registration for this season’s edition of the Djooky Music Awards (DMA) for composers, amateurs and professionals, closes this Saturday, February 20, 2021, the date on which the national, continental and world evaluations will begin.

The global grand finale will be on Sunday, February 28, 2021 and the jury will be made up of talents such as British Sacha Skarbek, two-time Ivor Novello Award winner and Grammy nominee, best known for writing hit singles like “You” re Beautiful »by James Blunt.

Artists will also be rated by award-winning, four-time Grammy-nominated musician and songwriter Patrice Rushen, who composed and recorded the hit song “Forget Me Nots”; as well as Justin Gray, a producer who has worked with talents such as Avril Lavigne, David Bisbal, Luis Fonsi and Amy Winehouse among others.

Winners will get a trip to Capitol Studios (LA, USA), the opportunity to record a song with world-class production teams, coaching sessions with the world’s best music experts, and cash prizes.

Launched in April of last year, Djooky is a digital platform endorsed and co-founded by Brian Malouf, an American multi-platinum producer who has worked with great artists such as Madonna, Michael Jackson, Queen, Pearl Jam, Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez and the Jonas Brothers for mention a few.

The Djooky Awards is the world’s first online song contest, bringing artists together with diverse audiences and opening new spaces for them in an industry made up mostly of major labels.
