Reggio Calabria, the accident caused the wounding of two people urgently transported to the Riuniti
A serious accident occurred this evening around 9 pm on the SS106 in Reggio Calabria and precisely in Ravagnese-Saracinello, near McDrive, at kilometer 1 + 700. 4 vehicles involved in the accident. The agents of the Reggio Calabria Traffic Police and the Reggio Calabria Fire Brigade immediately intervened on the spot, extracting the people involved from the plates and asking for the intervention of the 118 rescuers. In the accident Two people were injured already transported to Ospedali Riuniti where they are receiving the appropriate treatment. Fortunately they are not life threatening.
Traffic on the freeway has been blocked for about an hour in both directions with hundreds of motorists forced to take alternative routes. Traffic is diverted to the south at the Ravagnese-Saracinello junction, to the north it is blocked at the McDrive scene of yet another serious accident. The roadway is covered with debris.
