Minicuci announces the ‘Pact for Reggio’: “the ten points to revive the city to be respected within 180 days, if I can’t I go home immediately”
The candidate for Mayor of Reggio Calabria Antonino Minicuci launches the ‘Great Pact for Reggio’. Through the event staged at the headquarters of the provincial coordination of Forza Italia, Minicuci signed the ten programmatic points at the basis of the re-launch of Reggio Calabria. “Today I want to focus attention on a single topic, a fundamental theme for our city. From the outgoing mayor I have not heard any proposals for the revival of the city. He spoke only by slogans, “Reggio does not bind” or “Minicuci is a foreigner”, I clarify to Falcomatà that I am more Calabrian than him, who perhaps has always lived in cotton wool”.
The candidate of the center-right coalition stressed that the city is at a crossroads, facing the relaunch or the abyss. “I worked out 10 points to be implemented immediately, in the first 180 days after the administration took office. A pact for the rebirth of the city. Either I make them all, or I go home“, points out Minicuci without compromise. “I sign the great Pact for Reggio Calabria in front of the press and I will deliver a copy to each of you. It is a commitment that I make to the city for the first 180 days, so that at the end of this period you can come and ask for an account. If I fail to achieve these results, I will go home. Using the slides, the mayoral candidate illustrated the ten points in detail: waste management, street level, public lighting, administrative decentralization with the return to town halls, disposal of building assets and building amnesty, release of construction sites and transfer of functions to the Metropolitan City these are just some of the themes included by Minicuci in the ‘Great Pact for Reggio’.
Before signing the document subsequently delivered to all journalists present, Minicuci he concluded with a message to the people of Reggio in view of the second round scheduled for October 4th and 5th. “What is illustrated today is only a small anticipation of what really wants to be a new administration, completely different and at the antipodes of the outgoing administration. A competent team, capable of resolving emergencies and at the same time designing the city of the future, with a 5 and 10-year vision. The 10 points included in the pact are all achievable, concrete points, and we will make them come true. We want to turn the page to resurrect the city and send home an inefficient and incapable administration that has damaged Reggio Calabria”.
