Refrain from buying these cars: New rating of the most unreliable cars – ᐉ News from Fakti.bg – Auto

British edition of What Car? compiled a new rating of the most unreliable cars, which took into account the opinion of 16 thousand car owners. Respondents note the model, the year of production and tell in detail about the problems they have encountered in the last year. What faults are identified and how much they have to pay for repairs. After reviewing the data for all 178 models from 30 brands, What Car? calculate the reliability index of each and indicate the 25 worst.

So, the third generation Nissan X-Trail became the leader in the anti-rating with a reliability index of only 59.7 percent. Almost 40 percent of owners report problems with all of the model’s systems, except perhaps the built-in navigation. At the same time, almost half of the crossovers were repaired while under warranty, and 24 per cent paid more than £ 1,500 (€ 1,790) for repairs.

Of the models offered in Bulgaria, the rating includes several Land Rovers. The diesel Land Rover Discovery (reliability index 72.1 percent) has been criticized for serious damage and high repair costs, Discovery Sport (82.1 percent) – for electrical problems, Range Rover Evoque (82.6 percent) – for the appearance of rust on the body …

In addition to the X-Trail, Nissan is included in the list of the second generation Qashqai (86.6 percent). It is noted that more often problems have diesel crossovers, which in addition to the engine have defects with both the battery and the body. Another Nissan – Juke of the YF15 generation with an index of 83.8 percent, is characterized by problems with the engine, battery, body and suspension.

The ranking also includes the 2008 Peugeot, again with a diesel engine. Its index is 85.2 percent, and faults are found in the suspension, battery or brakes. In 60 percent of cases, the French crossover must be left in service for more than two weeks.

This anti-rating ranking also includes the current Audi A6 (85.3 percent), whose owners face many problems with the electrical system and body, as well as with malfunctions in navigation. Surprisingly, there is a Porsche in the ranking. It is a 718 Cayman, which achieves only 73.5 percent reliability due to body wear, malfunctions in the suspension and transmission, whose repair is not only expensive but also time consuming.
