Referred to as “a flop” in Denmark – now he can approach Rosenborg

It’s the regional newspaper Adresseavisen who reports that 22-year-old Tobias Børkeeiet will come to Trondheim in a few days to complete the transition from Brøndby to Rosenborg.-

On Sunday evening, Børkeeiet landed at Værnes, but the light hair was not very talkative and would not comment on Adresseavisen’s correspondent. He will carry out a medical test before he is ready for RBK.

Børkeeiet traveled to Brøndby from Stabæk in 2019, and has since played 34 games for the club, but the stay in the Danish Super League has not been an undivided success.

The Danish newspaper Tipsbladet Tobias describes Børkeeiet as “a flop” when they discuss the possible transition. Børkeeiet got off to an unfortunate start to his stay in Denmark, when he was injured for several months after the transition to Danish football. Tipsbladet, on the other hand, points out in particular that Børkeeiet should start the season in Brøndby’s treble line, but according to the newspaper there was no success after what they describe as several unfortunate experiences. The same newspaper also writes that it has long been known that the 22-year-old has finished in Brøndby, but until now the question has been which club he ends up in.-

Rosenborg will not confirm whether Børkeeiet will join the club.

– We have a clear plan, which we follow, and work with a number of “cases”. Some players are coming in, Dorsin told Adressa when asked about players coming in.

There has long been talk that Rosenborg’s head coach Kjetil Rekdal wants to play the back line in Rosenborg, as he also did with HamKam. It is not known what position Børkeeiet will hold if he comes to Rosenborg.

Kjetil Rekdal has not been allowed to bring any players to Rosenborg after he took over the coaching responsibility. However, both Emil Ceide (Sassuolo), Even Hovland (Häcken) and Anders Konradsen (without club) have left the club. In addition, it is rumored that both Holmar Örn Eyjolfsson and Dino Islamovic may leave the club.
