Redmi’s first gaming phone will have a 144Hz screen

Redmi, the sub-brand from Xiaomi is expected to announce a smartphone focused on gaming and powered by the Dimensity 1200 chipset this month. It is believed that the device with the model number M2104K10C, which was recently approved by the 3C authorities in China could be the gaming smartphone that Redmi will launch.

Until now, with regard to these devices, Redmi has only confirmed the chipset to be used. Yes! As already mentioned, the smartphone will be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 1200 chipset. Meanwhile, Sina Finance, a publication in China has shared some of the key specifications of the handset.

Sina Finance stated that the Redmi gaming smartphone will be equipped with an AMOLED E4 screen made by Samsung. Not to forget, the screen will also have a punch hole that is positioned in the middle and supports refresh rates of up to 144Hz.

In addition, Sina Finance also revealed that the smartphone is expected to come with a button on the shoulder, which is similar to the button on the Black Shark series. Yes! The presence of this button certainly aims to offer a better gaming experience.

The smartphone, which is powered by the Dimensity 1200 chipset, is also expected to support 67W fast charging. Unfortunately, there has been no news about the battery capacity that will be immersed in the device. Previous reports suggest that the device will probably have four cameras on the back.

It is said that the main camera will be armed with a 64 MP Sony IMX686 main camera. Another possibility, this gaming smartphone made by Redmi will be priced at around 2,000 Yuan (IDR 4.5 million) and one of the countries that will also sell this smartphone is India.

In India, the smartphone with model number M2104K10I has recently passed the BIS certification body. Meanwhile, the IMEI list of these devices indicates that the smartphone will carry the POCO brand. It is possible that this device will come as the POCO F Series.
