Red Bull F1 representative ‘Sebastian Vettel’s career is successful except for his hairdo'[F1-Gate.com]

Red Bull F1 team principal Christian Horner looks back fondly on his time with Sebastian Vettel.

Sebastian Vettel is arguably the most important driver in Red Bull’s history, and while Max Verstappen may surpass Vettel’s achievements, the four-time F1 world champion is the most successful driver in the team’s history.

Christian Horner recalls many of his successes as fond memories, but he recalls that his hairdo wasn’t good enough.

Sebastian Vettel has long hair now, but that wasn’t always the case at Red Bull.

Christian Horner joked with Sebastian Vettel that his hair never looked good when he was with us.

“Whitening, shaving, everything!” Horner told Sebastian Vettel, who was seated next to him.

“It was so much fun and an incredible moment.”

“We all grew up together. Very, very happy memories. Vettel was a very special part of our team.”

“All the victories, the Constructors’ Championship, the Drivers’ Championship…” Sebastian Vettel jokingly interrupted him: “We have all your bonuses”.

“All I did was write checks the whole time!” replied Christian Horner.

“But most of all, it was a lot of fun.”

Tensions threatened to boil over between Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez at this year’s Brazilian Grand Prix, but not as much as the rivalry between Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber.

Infamous F1 Malaysian Grand Prix 2013, in which Sebastian Vettel ignored the “Multi 21” team order and won by overtaking Mark Webber, and the relationship as a teammate was never fully re-established.

However, Christian Horner joked that Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel were much easier to handle than Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez.

“It’s easy compared to our current drivers,” said Crustian Horner of the Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber era.

“Their[Vettel e Webber]they were a great couple.”

“Looking back now at what we’ve accomplished together, we’ve had a lot of fun. We’ve all gotten a little older.”

“It was an incredible moment. It was a great moment for the team. It was a great moment for them (Vettel and Webber).”

Meanwhile, Sebastian Vettel has remained silent on what happens next, but said he would enjoy the “void” of having no plans for next year.

“I’m looking forward to the break and the emptiness because nothing is ready,” said Sebastian Vettel.

“I have no commitments signed up for next year. I think it’s a challenge.”

“It will be a big test for me and we will see how we deal with it.”
