Record of Covid cases in Prahova, in the fourth wave – September 17

From the beginning of the epidemic until now, in Prahova County, 37.081 people have been confirmed to be infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus (149 of persons confirmed in the last 24 hours).

Of these,

➡️persons in institutionalized isolation – 91

➡️updated active cases – 925


The total number of places for the care of patients with COVID-19 in Prahova is 380, including 200 the beds are occupied. At ATI, 22 places of which 21 places for patients with SARS-CoV-2 have been reported as occupied.


The cumulative incidence of active cases (from the last 14 days) in the county, calculated per 1000 inhabitants, is 1,04.

10 ATU with an incidence of over 2 cases / 1000 inhabitants – Cornu (2,86).

17 ATU with an incidence of over 1.5 cases / 1000 inhabitants.


During the previous day, in Prahova, they were made 966 of tests (tests from the beginning of the pandemic – 179.193), according to the centralization of DSP Prahova.


According to the information provided by the Prahova Public Health Directorate, until Thursday, September 16, 2021, 9:30 p.m., arrived in Prahova County 408.215 SARS-CoV-2 vaccine doses, of which 312,285 Pfizer / BioNTech doses, 43,600 products from Moderna, 28,710 AstraZeneca doses, but also 23,620 Johnson & Johnson doses

Of these, they were administered 372.706 doze.

173.698 people were immunized in our county with the second dose of vaccine, and other 20.925 were vaccinated with Johnson & Johnson serum.

The stock available at this time is 5.383 vaccine doses.

From the beginning of vaccination until now, they have been recorded 4.674 doses lost in the vaccination process and 61 of post-immunization adverse reactions (RAPI).

Today, September 17, 2021, other active outbreaks were registered in our county. The total is 7 Outbreaks of Covid-19 reported this month (2 x camp camps, 2 x companies, 2 x medical units, 1 x education unit)

Following the epidemiological investigation, the identified contacts were quarantined, and in the respective locations, current and terminal surface disinfection measures were taken, with a specialized company.
