Record broken: we had the hottest week on record in Belgium

In the past week (August 6 to 12), the record for the average for the highest temperatures recorded over seven days has been broken.

In fact, with the average of 33.5 degrees (recorded at the Uccle station), the previous record, established from June 30 to July 6, 1976 was exceeded. That week, an average of … 33.4 degrees had been recorded.

Meteorologist David Dehenauw announced it on Twitter.
