The Chinese company Realme has patented several new options for organizing elements in the multi-module main camera of smartphones, as reported by Internet sources.
A description of the proposed design versions is provided in the documentation of the China’s National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA).
As can be seen in the illustrations, a total of four back camera designs are described. In one of them, the elements are enclosed in a diamond-shaped block with four angular and one central block.
Another option involves the use of a round-shaped module, inside of which there are three main elements and two additional components – perhaps a double flash or flash and a ToF sensor.
Two more design options provide for the organization of four elements in the form of the symbol “X” and the sign “+”. In both cases, there is a fifth central component.
All design options require a drop-shaped display in the upper area for a single front camera. You can see the physical control buttons on the sides and the standard 3.5mm headphone jack on the bottom.
