Realme officially launched its newest low-end (entry-level) smartphone from the C-Series family, namely the C55 NFC Realm in Indonesia, Tuesday (7/3/2023).
The Chinese company boasts the world’s first Mini Capsule feature for Android on the C55. The Mini Capsule mimics the Dynamic Island found on the iPhone 14 Pro.
With this feature, the selfie camera module that carries a punch hole design can later be widened to resemble a capsule.
When the size of the selfie camera module is expanded, then shaped module This pill can display some information such as smartphone charging status, low battery warning, data usage, and much more.
The company, which was founded in 2010, carries the theme Champion. Realme C55 NFC is the embodiment of Realme’s new strategy improvement in the C Series.
Michonne Wang, Marketing Director of Realme Indonesia, revealed that by providing an entry-level smartphone that is at the forefront of its segment. His party aims for young people to enjoy the experience of being champions at every moment and grow with them.
While the specifications on this smartphone display adopt a screen measuring 6.72 inches with Full HD Plus resolution and a refresh rate of 90 Hz.
While on the back, on this side there are two cameras consisting of a 64 MP main camera and a 2 MP B&W camera.
Turning to the front right on the punch hole module, there is a selfie camera with a resolution of 8 MP.
Apart from that, for photography features, this smartphone is equipped with Street Photography Mode, a feature that is usually present on Realme GT and Number Series phones.
With that feature, users are claimed to be able to produce photos that are more optimal and rich in detail even though the pictures are taken in unstable conditions.
Turning to the performance aspect, the cellphone is powered by the Mediatek Helio G88 chipset, which is combined with two 6GB/8GB RAM options and two 128/256GB storage options.
In the power sector, the cellphone is supported by a 5,000 mAh capacity battery that supports SuperVOOC 33W fast charging technology.
They also claim that this phone can be fully charged in 63 minutes. It aims to make it easier for its users.
Other supporting features on the smartphone that have dimensions of 7.89 mm include Dynamic RAM which provides Virtual RAM up to 16 GB, MicroSD memory card support up to 1 TB, NFC and others.
For the price of the latest cellphone, Realme C55 NFC in Indonesia, it is available in two color choices, namely Rainy Night and Sunshower. This phone is priced at IDR 2.5 million (6GB/128GB) and IDR 3 million (8GB/256GB).
