Gareth Bale will not accept a pay cut in the final year of his contract with Real Madrid.
Bale is willing to accept another loan next season, but not one Euro will be conceded to his parent club.
This information has come from the Mirror, who note that the Welshman earns 30 million euros gross per season, which equates to around 692,660 euros a week.
Bale’s wake-up call
Last month it appeared that Bale would return to the Spanish capital sooner rather than later. Until the beginning of February, the on-loan Tottenham Hotspur forward has played just 229 minutes of football in the Premier League and 782 minutes in all competitions.
However, his impressive performance in a 4-0 win against Burnley changed all that. It was the Welshman’s first start in the Premier League since 2013, when he featured for Spurs in a 1-0 win against Sunderland before joining The whites.
This time around, Bale scored a brace. His first came after just 68 seconds, while he also contributed an assist against the Clarets.
