From the Trump era at the latest, the so-called dirty deal is socially acceptable again. So it seems to be “state of the art” to enter into immoral cooperations again. This becomes particularly clear in the current election of the second and third mayors of our city. Not enough that rather inexperienced people were successful, the council raised them to full-time placeholders with princely fees. The counter argument of saving speakers is not a draw, since they can demonstrate technical prerequisites per se.
Initiated strategically at the beginning of the legislature, one hopes for the short-term memory of the electorate. In these viral times of crisis, in which companies and private individuals struggle for survival and existence, a more humble approach would be desirable. It was decided for the worse way and therefore for the “fat pots”. The reasoning that Ingolstadt and Augsburg present themselves in a similar way contradicts the view and distorts the perspective. All in all a terrifying and unspeakable signal at the wrong time.
