Federal 2 (2022-2023), instructions for use

Format of the competition

➤ 96 teams involved.
➤ 8 pools of 12 teams.
➤ Qualifying phase in home and away matches, i.e. 22 days.
➤ Final phase: play-offs; round of 16 and round of 16 in home and away matches; quarter-finals + semi-finals + final in dry matches.

Phases finales 2022-2023

➤ The 1st and 2nd of each group are directly qualified for the main round, which begins in the round of 16.
➤ Round of play-offs: the 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th of pool will play a round of play-offs. The matches will take place on the field of the highest ranked player. The winners will be qualified for the round of 16 of the French championship.

Assignments for the 2023-2024 season

➤ The 8 teams qualified in the quarter-finals of the French championship are promoted to Federal 1.
The 16 teams ranked 11th and 12th in each pool are relegated to Federal 3.
