Razer Blade 15 Studio Edition

Razer introduces its new Razer Blade 15 Studio Edition, a mobile workstation for all content creators – from audio engineers to VFX artists. The new mobile studio has installed the latest 8-core Intel processor of the 10th generation and an NVIDIA Quadro RTX 5000 graphics card and is rounded off with additional features such as an individually calibrated 4K OLED touch display, a UHS-III SD card reader and charging USB-C. The new Razer Blade 15 Studio Edition is the perfect combination of performance and functionality in a sleek Mercury White design.

Performance Made Possible

Inside the Blade 15 Studio Edition is the new 8-core Intel Core i7-10875H processor of the 10th generation, which thanks to Intel Thermal Velocity Boost technology ensures clock rates of up to 5.1 GHz. The eight cores paired with the improved clock rate stand for a significant increase in performance in CPU-intensive programs.

Content creators and tech experts working with 3D models or complex VFX designs will find the NVIDIA Quadro RTX 5000 graphics card in the Blade 15 Studio. It offers 16 GB of GDDR6 memory for a fluid workflow when using multiple programs and 48 RT cores for improved real-time ray tracing performance so that content creators can do their work in a completely new and unique way.

“If I had thought a few years ago whether I could edit a complex CG-animated film project like Battlesuit on the go on a laptop, I would probably have thought I was crazy. Nowadays, tools like the Unreal Engine with NVIDIA GPU rendering on a blade laptop enable filmmakers like me to take the limits of sci-fi storytelling to a new level. This enables me to realize all of my visions, no matter how wild they may be. “

Hasraf ‘HaZ’ Dulull, director and producer of Battlesuit

Performance made visual

At the heart of the new Blade 15 Studio is a 15.6-inch 4K OLED touch display that transports the user to another dimension thanks to breathtaking clarity and rich, immersive colors. Each display covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color space, is individually calibrated for maximum color accuracy and a low Delta-E ensures optimal work in different environments. The display also offers an extremely short response time of 1 ms for creators in the field of VFX and video game developments. The display is rounded off with a Gorilla Glass panel for a long service life and touch function.

Performance made versatile

Designed for maximum reliability and performance, the housing of the new Blade 15 Studio Edition is made from a single block of aluminum and anodized with a Mercury white finish. The result is a thin, durable design that’s built to last and is great for on the go.

“I’ve worked with the first Blade 15 Studio over the past few months. It is not only a great laptop for everyday use, but also calls for first-class performance when needed. Now the new Blade Studio gets even better thanks to its 8-core processor and there is the possibility to load it via USB-C / Thunderbolt. These improvements will definitely make it my first choice laptop in the future. ”

Jarred Land, CEO of RED Digital Cinema

The latest connection options of the Blade 15 Studio Edition simplify the life of every content creator: UHS-III SD card reader, Bluetooth 5.1 and USB-C with Thunderbolt 3. In addition to data and video transmission, the USB-C connection offers more flexibility by charging is now possible with a universal USB-C power supply with lower power.

The new Razer Blade 15 Studio Edition offers the latest improvements in processor and graphics technology so that content creators can deliver their work with the highest efficiency and quality, both on the go and in the studio.
