Ray J and Princess Love Welcome Baby Boy

Back in September, Ray J and Princess Love of Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood announced their second pregnancy. The couple already welcomed baby Melody in 2018 and fans saw their quest to try for baby number two during this past season of the show. That was all pre-taped, and as followers of the pair know, Princess was due to give birth to a baby boy this winter. Congratulations are officially in order!

The Norwoods welcomed their new baby

As of Dec. 30, Ray J posted a new video on his YouTube channel with the title “Ray J Exclusive Family Video (New Baby Alert)” which contains footage of the couple’s adorable baby girl in Christmas gear and scenes in the maternity ward.

You won’t peep it until close to the end of the short video, but Ray J is putting on hospital scrubs and Princess is being wheeled around on a hospital bed. It looks like delivery time!

If you look even closer, the family seems to be boarding a plane with a tiny baby stroller and baby supplies in tow.

Ray J is letting everyone know himself that the baby is here, and he captioned the video with a sweet message for his wife, saying, “I love you Princess love! And my baby girl melody! I don’t ever wanna lose our time together. I’m sorry for everything. 2020 will be something very special.”

The couple almost split up in November

For weeks, a dramatic tiff between the pair played out
publicly on social media, with Princess Love accusing Ray J of abandoning her
and Melody in Las Vegas without a safe way home. Love said that hubby left her
and the baby stranded and blocked her phone calls, and immediately fans started
questioning what was going on.

She posted videos online saying she
wanted a divorce and things eventually escalated to the point where Ray J started
speaking out. He took to Instagram to post a video saying his family is a priority:

“I am my family. I love my family. I’ve dedicated my life to my family. To insinuate that I would do anything to harm my daughter is just sad man.

To take this to social media and create this crazy story about me leaving my baby in harm’s way is not cool. Our circle needs to be tight like that. Nobody should be able to get in it. If we get into something big or small, we should be able to hug each other and love each other and listen to each other and understand what we need to do to make it right.”

He also stopped by the Wendy Williams show and took the time to tell his pregnant wife he loves her and to assure everyone he’s done with Vegas. Thanks to Princess, he said, the idea to move to Sin City was squashed.

Ray J and Princess Love hosted a baby shower in December

Days before Christmas, videos of their blue-themed baby shower were posted on Instagram. The couple seemed to be keeping the peace, and recent clips show that the nursery was being prepped. By all accounts, the two seem to have reconciled and are in newborn mode.
