The president stressed that Buenrostro, who served as Senior Finance Officer, did a very good job this year because as part of the strategy of fight corruption and austerity, government acquisitions and purchases were concentrated in the Office of the Mayor and that allowed to save more than 200 billion pesos.

“That was a job, it was a job headed by Raquel Buenrostro, she is a prepared, hardworking and honest woman. You see that women, among other things, among other virtues, are more honest than men, ”he said.

Raquel Buenrostro Sánchez has a degree in Mathematics from the UNAM and a Master in Economics from the Colegio de México with two decades of experience in public service.

He has worked in areas of federal public administration in dependencies such as Pemex, the IMSS and in the Secretariats of the Interior, Tourism and Public Education.
