Rape, cocaine and betrayal by Ashton Kutcher. Demi Moore’s autobiography caused a storm in the media

Demi Moore he has starred in many iconic productions, including “Believe in the Spirit” and “Charlie’s Angels”. It turns out, however, that the life of the star itself is also suitable for a movie, or even a few. Rape, cocaine parties in Brazil, three failed marriages, miscarriage … Fate did not spare the star. The actress decided to talk about the backstage of life in the autobiography “Intymnie”. The title is not exaggerated. Moore did share the most difficult and intimate experiences. Why? Because, as she writes herself, she has learned to relate to them.

Difficult relationship with the mother

But let’s start from the beginning, i.e. from childhood. It took Demi to move frequently and listen to her parents argue, who did not shy away from alcohol. Their relationship was so turbulent and complicated that at the end of her life (Moore had outlived both her father and mother), no one was sure if they were really divorced. Even as a teenager, Moore suffered a trauma that left its mark on the rest of her life. She was raped in her own apartment by a friend of her mother. This, as it turned out later, could have been without fault.

As I got out of the car, I struggled with the nausea. When Ginny (the star’s mother) walked in, taking a few boxes, we were left alone for a while, and Val turned to me and said, “What is it like when your mother makes a f ** k for you for five hundred dollars? ”I stared at him blankly.

Even though Demi Moore moved out from her mother when she was only 16, she made her life difficult for a long time. When the star’s children appeared in the world, Virginia Guynes sold a private photo of the family to the press, which prompted Moore to cut off contact with her mother for eight years. They only renewed their relationship in 1998. A few months later, the actress’s mother died of cancer.

I didn’t cry, I didn’t cry even when I entered the small bathroom next to her room and closed the door behind me. The clarity of my thoughts enveloped me, and I stopped. My emotions towards Ginny – anger, pain, hurt – were all mine from then on. The vessel that was their source is gone. Her own problems – and God knows she had plenty – Mother took with her. I felt liberated.

Drugs and eating disorders

Growing up with her alcoholic mom, teenage Demi quickly began to drink alcoholic beverages. As a teenager, she spent evenings with her in California bars. Upon entering the world of show business, Moore got to know drugs. As she recalls, on the set of the first film “Blame It on Rio” cocaine almost “burned her nostrils”. The then beginner actress quickly became addicted to stimulants, which could have ruined her career. The producers of the film “Fire of Saint Elmo” came to the rescue and sent her to express therapy.

I will always remember it as a movie that changed my life. If I hadn’t gone to rehab to do it, I might be dead.

Demi managed to stay sober for a long time. Addiction, however, was replaced by another problem – obsessive work on a slim figure. Complexes spoke in it during the auditions for the romantic comedy “This Last Night”.

When I went to meet him at his LA office, my worst nightmare came true. Ed sat down and said, “I really want to see you in this movie, but you have to promise you will lose weight.” I will not forget it for the rest of my life. I felt nauseous, my stomach tightened with terror, I felt panic. This is how my struggle for control over my own body began, during which I made my own value dependent on my weight, clothing size and appearance.

The fight went on for many years. The star imposed not only a draconian diet, but also exhausting training. This led to her pregnancies being at risk.

Ashton Kutcher in the life of Demi Moore

At one time, it was loud about Demi Moore’s marriage to Ashton Kutcher, as well as about his breakup. The couple were 15 years apart. Moore was an experienced woman and a successful actress, and Kutcher was just taking his first steps in Hollywood. However, this did not prevent them from falling in love with each other. Their daughter, Chaplin Ray, was to be cemented. Unfortunately, Moore had a miscarriage.

Shortly before the end of the sixth month of pregnancy, just before we started announcing her to all and sundry, we went to the doctor. As always, he did an ultrasound, but this time no heartbeat was detected. Instead of the familiar “loot, loot” little Chaplin’s heart, I heard a deathly silence – and saw the expression on the doctor’s face.

Subsequent attempts to get pregnant ended in failure.

The marriage of the stars lasted eight years and was not easy. Although Demi has repeatedly emphasized in her autobiography that Ashton was a good lover, unfortunately he had a problem with monogamy. Before he cheated on his wife, he had convinced her to have threesome sex before.

So when he told me about his fantasy to invite a third person to bed, I didn’t say no. I wanted to show him that I am great and that he can count on having fun with me.

This led to the opening of the relationship and finally its end. Meanwhile, three daughters turned away from Demi, and she herself went back to stimulants. The turning point was hospitalization after one of the grand events. Moore begins with this memory, and a few hundred pages later he ends his story. You can read about what happened between and after that in the book “Intymnie”. Demi Moore’s autobiography will hit Polish bookstores on September 30.
