Charlotte Faure could have become Diane Leyre’s second runner-up.
As every year, when there are only 15 candidates left in the Miss France contest, the public is called to vote to qualify 5 contenders for the 2nd round.
As evidenced by the summary of the results to which Jean-Marc Morandini had access, the final ranking did not really reflect the will of the viewers who, as we recall, pay to be able to vote by SMS.
Thus, in the first round, it was Miss Martinique who collected the most votes. She is followed by Miss Île-de-France then by our Miss Rhône-Alpes.
However, the jury did not agree. He classified Charlotte Faure in 12th place, which greatly contributed to the elimination of the contender.
And in the final, re-belote: the public had chosen Miss Martinique but the jury decided to rank her last of the 5 finalists.
Diane Leyre was therefore elected thanks to the strong support of the jury. If the latter makes a rather good impression on social networks, Internet users still say they are frustrated and angry that their votes are not taken into account properly.
