The incident of Rangga’s murder began when Samsul entered the house where Rangga and DA lived in East Aceh while both were asleep, Saturday (10/10) in the morning. Samsul enters by prying open the door and then attempts to rape DA.
DA gasped and saw Samsul with a machete nearby. Rangga who slept with him then woke up too.
The mother had asked Rangga to run, but Rangga persisted and screamed to prevent his mother from being raped. Samsul then swung the machete at Rangga’s shoulder until the boy collapsed covered in blood. Samsul slashes Rangga to death.
“Victim R died because of a broken large pulse on the left,” said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Langsa Police, Iptu, Arief Sukmo Wibowo, to reporters, Sunday (11/10).
Samsul dragged DA outside and raped her repeatedly. DA then survived after successfully untying her ties and running for help after being raped in the bush.
Meanwhile, Rangga’s body was then dumped and found in a river. Fadly said that he had gone to Aceh and had seen his son’s body covered in wounds and participated in tahlilan.
The police have arrested Samsul and named him a suspect. He was charged with layered articles, namely Article 338 jo 340 jo 285 jo 351 paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code and / or Article 80 of Law 35 of 2014 concerning Child Protection. Samsul, who has just been released from prison after being assimilated, faces a death sentence.
Samsul is found dead in a cell. He died after complaining of pain.
