Railway Control Officer Suspended for Delay in Vande Bharat Train Trial Run in Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram: Railway control department officer suspended for train delay in trial run of Vande Bharat train. The suspension is for the train arriving ten minutes late. Thiruvananthapuram Division Office P.L. An officer named Kumar was suspended.

The test run of Vande Bharat was held in Kerala on Tuesday. The trial run was from Thiruvananthapuram to Kannur. It left Thiruvananthapuram Central Station at 5.10 am and reached Kannur at 12.20 pm. The maximum speed achieved on the Shornur-Kannur route during the trial run was 110 kmph. 80 to 100 kmph has become the maximum speed in other areas as well. Returned from Kannur at 2.10 pm and reached Thiruvananthapuram at 9.30 pm. It took 7 hours and 20 minutes.

Vandebharat, which has a maximum speed of 130 kmph in other states, takes an average speed of 95 kmph. However, the speed was reduced due to the limitations of the state.
