Today, Head of State Rumen Radev signed a decree appointing Sonya Yordanova Momchilova-Yoveva a member of the Council for Electronic Media (CEM) from the presidential quota. This was announced by the presidency.

Sonya Momchilova has over thirty years of experience in the field of journalism and media. He has expertise in the field of public communications and public relations.

From 1991 to 2000 he worked in various television formats of the Bulgarian National Television as a reporter, editor and producer. He is the creator and host of radio and television programs in private media. Author and translator of books for children and adults. He has dozens of publications in various electronic and printed publications.

Sonya Momchilova specialized in public relations and communications in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, the United States and Belgium in the period 2001-2006. He is the author of advertising and election campaigns, an expert in political, media and corporate communications.

Sonya Momchilova was director of the press center of the Ministry of Justice, director of the press center of the Ministry of Interior, director of the press center of the Ministry of Transport and Communications. He is the head of the government’s press service in the second caretaker government, appointed by President Rumen Radev.

Sonya Momchilova will take the place of Ivelina Dimitrova, who resigned as a member of the media regulator.
