It seems that Adrien Rabiot is in no rush to find his partners in Juventus. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, the French midfielder is, with Gonzalo Higuain, the only foreign player who has not returned to Turin.
The two internationals, who train individually, prefer to wait before returning to Italy. While Maurizio Sarri’s players have returned to training for individual sessions since Tuesday, the former PSG player would still be in France this Sunday, on the eve of deconfinement.
More indulgence for Higuain than for Rabiot
If Adrien Rabiot is expected in Piedmont, his absence is not (yet) reprimanded by his club. Juve’s management gives the Frenchman and Gonzalo Higuain another seven days to return to training. She will grant more indulgence to the Argentine striker, currently in Buenos Aires at the bedside of his seriously ill mother. For Adrien Rabiot, on the other hand, the situation could become tense if the environment lags too long. No date has yet been announced for a possible resumption of the Serie A. After 26 days, Juventus is at the top of the classification with a point ahead of Lazio Rome.
