R + V Versicherung and FC Schalke 04 are continuing their partnership despite being relegated to the 2nd Bundesliga: The cooperative insurer will remain a premium partner of the Royal Blues for at least another year. Since the old contract with a term until 2023 was not valid for the 2nd Bundesliga, a new contract was drawn up.
If the club were to rise again directly, the partnership would automatically continue until 2023, as originally agreed. R + V Versicherung has been a partner of the Royal Blues since 2015 and, as part of this sponsorship, supports, among others, the FC Schalke 04 soccer school, which organizes training camps nationwide and inspires children and young people for the team sport soccer. R + V has also been a partner of the club’s esports division since 2019.

Our brand promise ‘You are not alone’ naturally also applies to FC Schalke 04, with whom we have had a long and successful partnership ”, stated Jens Hasselbächer, Director of Sales and Marketing at R + V Versicherung.
