Christmas shopping, aperitifs at the bar or a simple walk in the open air. In good weather, the streets of the center of the big cities were stormed on Sunday. From Rome to Turin, from Milan to Bologna passing through Naples and Florence, the streets were filled with people who (mostly) wore masks. But there was no lack of gatherings and queues. In the evening, the local police of Rome has closed the area of the Trevi Fountain for the crowd. According to Codiretti’s estimates, with the return of four new Regions among the yellow zones (Lombardy, Piedmont, Calabria and Basilicata) have reopened approx 94 thousand between bars, restaurants, pizzerias and farmhouses forced to close for weeks or just take away or home delivery.

Rome: Porta Portese reopens
