As part of the creation of the future social center “la maison pop’”, the team of the Intercommunal Center for Social Action (CIAS) goes out to meet the inhabitants throughout the summer. The idea is to offer times for discussion and sharing, while being closer to the inhabitants, at the heart of local life. Monday morning, Place de la Liberation, the inhabitants of the community were invited to drink a “coffee-inhabitant” with Patrice Le Penhuizic, president of Questembert Community and Jean-Pierre Galudec, vice-president in charge of children- youth. They had come to present “La Maison Pop’”, this is how the future social center carried by the CIAS de Questembert community will be named. A project that aims to support everyone, the animation of social life, while promoting proximity with the inhabitants.
Seven municipalities covered by La Maison Pop’
The labeling of this new social center is planned for July 1, 2022. Maison Pop’ will act for the inhabitants of the municipalities of La Vraie-Croix, Larré, Le Cours, Molac, Questembert, Lauzach and Berric, who do not have currently a social center. This structure for the animation of social life will manage, among other things, the collective reception of minors, the youth service, the Youth Information Service, the Clas device “Local school support contract”. It will also offer local cafés, like the one last Monday on the market, family/local outings, as well as family actions with, in particular, parent-child workshops, etc.
About twenty meetings are scheduled during the summer.
