The British Queen Elizabeth has become great-grandmother for the tenth time: her granddaughter Zara Tindall gave birth to a son on Sunday, Buckingham Palace reports.

The birth of Lucas Philip Tindall was unusual: mother Zara (39) and father Mike, a former England rugby international, did not get to the hospital in time. The child was therefore born on the floor of the couple’s bathroom. They already had two children: Mia (7) and Lena (2).

Tindall is the second child and only daughter of Princess Anne, the daughter of Princess Anne Queen. The Queen and her husband, Prince Philip, say they are “delighted” with the birth, and “look forward to meeting their tenth great-grandchild as soon as circumstances permit,” said a spokesman. The child is 22nd in line to the British throne.
