In the quarter-finals between the Czech Republic and Denmark, two Czech players suffered a head injury and then had to wear a turban. What the network says about it.

Baku – They fought, but it wasn’t enough. The Czechs were eliminated in the quarter-finals of the European Championship against Denmark. In the end it was 1: 2 (0: 2) from the point of view of the bravely fighting players from the Czech Republic. It was impossible to overlook how much the surprise team at the European Championship had put in.

Two players suffered head injuries during the game and had to continue playing in a turban – meanwhile central defender Ondrej Celustka had to go out completely due to an injury. The injuries were of course also a topic on Twitter.

But not every Twitter user took the scenes with humor. There was also criticism of ARD commentator Tom Bartels.

The Danes’ opening goal was also discussed on Twitter. The corner before Thomas Delaney’s goal shouldn’t have been there.

The Danes are celebrating their entry into the EM semifinals. There they will meet the winner of the Ukraine-England game in London.
