Quarantine in Ukraine will be strengthenedis expected from next week. All areas will fall into the yellow zone, and restrictions will be relaxed for vaccinated Ukrainians. This was discussed at today’s government meeting.
Prime Minister Denis Shmygal noted that in Ukraine, with the onset of autumn, the epidemic situation is deteriorating. As of September 7 alone, more than 2.7 thousand new people infected with coronavirus were recorded, and gradually this figure is going up.
“In order to avoid hard lockdowns and red zones, we must act proactively. We are returning to the working regime of regular meetings of the commission on technogenic and environmental safety and emergency situations. epidemic danger throughout the country, “he said.
In turn, Minister of Health Viktor Lyashko noted that most of the strict restrictions will not apply to those vaccinated.
“We propose to bring the quality of life of the vaccinated population closer to the usual … Most of the restrictions that are provided in the yellow and red levels will not apply if collectives or visitors to institutions are vaccinated. For the yellow level, one dose of the vaccine will be enough, and for the red level, a full vaccination course, “he said.
Within seven days after today’s government meeting, a commission of the TEB Emergency Situations should meet to make a decision on strengthening quarantine.
What is prohibited in the yellow zone?
- holding mass events with the participation of more than one person per 1 sq. m;
- the work of cinemas and other cultural institutions with an occupancy of more than 50%;
- carrying out the transportation of passengers in the number of more than the number of seats;
- holding discos, as well as the work of other entertainment establishments;
- placing visitors in catering establishments at a distance of less than two meters between tables;
- activities of establishments providing accommodation services (except for hotels and sanatoriums);
- visiting schools and kindergartens, if half of the children and teachers are sick;
- carrying out planned operations;
- visiting gyms, if less than 20 sq. m area.
Earlier we reported that the chief sanitary doctor of Ukraine Igor Kuzin said that the coronavirus strain “Delta” is actively spreading across the territory of Ukraine.
